We’re looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of live events. If you're passionate about live events, product design, and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you. The Product Design Team is responsible for the overall design and user experience of the Leap family of products—a suite of vertically driven ticketing and engagement applications that power the entire event lifecycle, from the purchase experience to on-site event operations. In this role, you will work on cross-platform design initiatives and collaborate closely with the Enterprise Ticketing Team (ShowClix) to build intuitive tools and product experiences for event organizers and internal teams.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER, YOU WILL:

Create tools and features for our enterprise ticketing admin platform, enabling event organizers, marketers, and operations staff to succeed. You’ll ensure a seamless user experience, identify usability gaps, and play a key role in shaping the design strategy for a robust application.

  • Design intuitive workflows for our admin application through wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

  • Drive the design process end-to-end, from user research and concept development to final UI/UX implementation.

  • Ensure platform cohesiveness as the product scales.

  • Conduct discovery exercises and evaluations to identify and solve usability challenges, iterating on improvements to enhance functionality.

  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, designers, and operations stakeholders.

  • Contribute to our design system, processes, and knowledge base to drive excellence within the design team.

OFFICE INFORMATION:

Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour! 

If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

Job requirements

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

You are a detail-oriented, thoughtful designer who enjoys tackling complex problems and iterating on solutions. Your strong design execution demonstrates excellent taste and attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects of varying scope and complexity. You take ownership of initiatives, seeing them through from start to finish, ensuring they align with product goals and provide meaningful impact.

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on designing workflows for feature-rich enterprise systems.

  • Strong ability to prepare and collaborate with engineering teams on design deliverables for development.

  • Deep understanding of modern design fundamentals and best practices, with experience leveraging existing design systems.

  • Proven track record of designing and delivering products from concept to launch.

  • A self-starter mindset, with the ability to proactively lead workshops or exercises to uncover user needs.

  • Familiarity with UX and HCI processes and methodologies, with an understanding of when and how to apply them effectively.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work inclusively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Figma or other screen design tools.

BONUS SKILLS:

  • Experience in event ticketing, live event engagement, or related industries.

  • A personal passion for live events, with an understanding of what makes them memorable.

  • General knowledge of CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and single-page applications.
