We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to help grow our design team and shape the future of our event technology platform. You’ll collaborate closely with our enterprise ticketing team (TicketLeap Pro) to develop features that empower event organizers to create unforgettable experiences. Additionally, you’ll lead design initiatives, working with our design and product teams to identify user experience gaps and craft solutions aligned with our product vision.

AS A SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER, YOU WILL:
Designing intuitive and efficient workflows for enterprise systems that empower event organizers.
Collaborating with teams to identify and solve usability challenges, ensuring our platform is both functional and delightful.
Driving the design process end-to-end, from user research and concept development to final UI/UX implementation.
Leveraging and contributing to our design system to maintain consistency and scalability across our platform.
Facilitating workshops and exercises to uncover opportunities for product improvement.
Applying user experience (UX) and human-computer interaction (HCI) methodologies to address challenges effectively.
Championing a user-centered design approach, taking into account feedback from stakeholders, organizers, clients, and team members.

OFFICE INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

Job requirements
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3-5+ experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on designing workflows for complex enterprise systems.
Strong ability to shift between UI, UX, and research initiatives.
A natural curiosity about systems, processes, and how users interact with them in their daily tasks.
Experience working with and building upon design systems.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to proactively lead workshops and exercises to uncover user needs.
Familiarity with UX and HCI processes and methodologies, with an understanding of when and how to apply them effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work inclusively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong ability to prepare and collaborate with engineering on design deliverables for development.
Fluid in screen design tools, such as Figma.
BONUS SKILLS:
Experience in the event ticketing, live event engagement, or related industries.
A personal passion for live events, understanding the nuances of creating memorable experiences.
General understanding of CSS, Javascript frameworks, and single page applications.
