We are seeking an energetic, goal-driven, self-disciplined, and detail-oriented person to join our remote Lead Generation team. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our various event technology offerings. As a first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of our product offering & sales process, and excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our Sales Directors up for success.

AS A SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE, YOU WILL:
Communicate with prospects via phone & email to generate new sales opportunities
Maintain a pipeline of prospects and cultivate their interest in Leap Event Technology solutions
Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Screen potential clients to ensure they are qualified for our products/services
Move qualified leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a Sales Director, and/or arranging meetings, emails, and phone calls.
Build trusted relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
Utilize Salesforce CRM to record your activities and interactions with prospects
Collaborate with Sales Directors to ensure smooth transition from Lead to Opportunity
Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Sales Directors
Create outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
Support Sales Directors and Leadership with outbound lead generation efforts
Other duties as assigned
Your target market for prospects will be one of the industries listed below. Candidates with knowledge and experience in live events technology for one of the following is highly preferred.

OFFICE INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

Job requirements
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
1-2 years of sales experience, with a demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or other CRM software
Strong communication skills via phone, email, and web meeting
Problem-solving mindset with ability to understand prospects’ challenges and present them with an appropriate solution
Ability to work in a remote environment
Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills
You have a good knowledge of the live-event industry and the technologies that organizers use to produce their events (Preferred)
