Leap Event Technology is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Photo Ops and Autographs team. In this role, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our e-commerce, administrative and onsite software. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA to create and execute test plans, identify issues, and help deliver amazingly epic experiences for our customers.

AS A QA ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Design, develop, and execute test cases for web based e-commerce, content management, and onsite supporting software and hardware.
Test the integration and functionality of our web and onsite applications.
Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing to ensure high-quality releases.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and provide early feedback.
Report, track, and verify bugs through their lifecycle using Jira.
Contribute to test strategy and best practices for our e-commerce, administrative, content management, and onsite software.
Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and results.
Provide QA input throughout the software development lifecycle to help shape requirements and design.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3–5 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience testing web based e-commerce applications across multiple browsers and environments.
Familiarity with web based testing tools, frameworks, and systems.
Experience with testing
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and SDLC.
Experience working with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Strong knowledge in Python or JavaScript, with experience writing test scripts, automation, or debugging code.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks for the web.
Curious, adaptable, and eager to explore how GenAI and Machine Learning can drive efficiency and innovation in testing.
BONUS SKILLS:
Experience working with or testing a Content Management System (CMS).
Experience testing distributed systems.
Exposure to or interest in generative AI tools and their application in software testing.
Experience leveraging GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, test generation frameworks) to accelerate creation of test cases, test scripts, and regression coverage.

OFFICE INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour! If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.
