Developers design, architect, and build products, tools, and apply our standards in service of the organization. They design and build software, tests, configuration and other code in pursuit of the goals of the company. They are active participants in the scrum/agile process and help guide and mentor more junior developers.

AS A FULL STACK DEVELOPER, YOU WILL:
Writing maintainable, testable code and appropriate tests to prove correctness.
Participate in providing and receiving code reviews
Operation and support of the production environment
Participating in the standard ceremonies of our organization’s Agile SDLC (Standups, Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Ideation).
Meeting quality standards for code/markup.
Working with other stakeholders to determine optimal solutions to technical and business problems.
Producing technical documentation related to engineering concerns.
Providing 2nd/3rd tier support as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel for in-person meetings with team members occasionally, occasional event visits (< 5%), work from home otherwise.

OFFICE INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

Job requirements
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
HS Diploma or equivalent required
2+ years as a full stack developer on e-commerce web applications, using/building asp.net core HTTP APIs, modern javascript applications
2+ years of experience with Sql Server or other RDBMS solutions
1+ years experience NHibernate
1+ years of Azure experience
Passion for the live event industry
Several years of experience with front-end engineering using jQuery, bootstrap, node/npm.
Strong Database background with several years of experience in MSSQL Server, and Redis systems.
Experience integrating with third party services and designing robust, graceful degradation during high demand events or system outage scenarios
Familiarity with Azure WebApp Deployments.
Familiarity with a container (Docker) deployment.
Extensive experience in a CI/CD environment in the following (or similar) technologies: Azure Pipelines, Github Actions
Direct experience with Azure product offerings, especially with Azure WebApps, Storage, MSSQL Server
BONUS SKILLS:
Familiarity with Git/Github, Jira, Sonarqube
Familiarity with Leap Event Technology Products
Designing for optimal mobile web experiences (bandwidth limitations, spotty connectivity)
Experience with Canon Camera SDKs, Linux Printing (Raspberry Pi) Experience
Experience with Canon Photo SDKs
Experience with high volume photo printing in a Linux environment
Familiarity with IOT development and deployment (balena cloud)
Familiarity with AI/ML/Computer Vision projects
Familiarity with working within devops frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform or Chef, Kubernetes
